This is my 24th year teaching at St. Gabriel School. I started teaching 4th grade for one year, sixth grade English and literature for three years, 7th-8th grade literature for twelve years, and eight years ago moved to 8th grade English and literature.
One of my passions is reading, and I thoroughly enjoy sharing that passion with my students. I keep up to date with middle and high school level books and add many books to my numerous shelves every year. I also love sharing my love of writing with my students. I’ve enjoyed watching some of my students experience the joy of being published, and I hope to continue to challenge my students to see writing as a way to communicate their ideas, opinions, and knowledge logically and intellectually with the world around them.
I’m a 1986 St. Gabriel’s graduate and a 1990 Cor Jesu Academy alum.
Degrees: BA in Language Arts, Fontbonne University; certified Paul VI religious instructor
