This is my 16th year teaching at St. Gabriel the Archangel School.  This is my fourteenth year teaching 5th grade.   I have taught 4th grade for 2 years at St. Gabriel and have also taught 3rd grade for 6 years at Notre Dame Elementary, which is now closed.  I have received two teaching awards in my career.  I received the Outstanding Beginning Teacher Award and the Walmart Teacher of the Year Award.

I have my A.A. in General Studies from St. Louis Community College.  I have my B.A. in Education and my M.A.T. in Social Sciences, both from Webster University.  I have also taken the necessary classes to be certified to teach Religion through Paul VI classes in the Archdiocese.

I am excited with all the changes going on at St. Gabriel.  I will be teaching my homeroom Writing, Reading, Math, and Religion.  I will also teach Religion to 5G and 5R this year.  There are so many exciting things happening with the Up the Ladder Writing Program that I will teach for the first time.  We have a new Student Success Program.  We will be implementing Lucy Caukin’ Reading program by the end of the year.  These are just a few changes we are looking forward to this year.
