LUNCH HOURS

Grades K-2: 11:10 – 11:30 Grades 3-5: 11:40 – 12:00 Grades 6-8: 12:10 – 12:30

Parent lunch volunteers hours are from 11:00 – 12:45. Sign in at the Office when you arrive.

The “Lunch Ladies” are St. Gabriel’s own parishioners/moms: Joan Burnes, Jill Farace, and Liz Young. We are employed by Chris’ Pancake.


MENUS

Monthly menus are due by date listed on menu, usually the last Wednesday of the month. Weekly orders must be turned in by the prior Wednesday. Please make checks payable to Chris’ Pancake. You may write one check per family. Each child should have their own menu; all menus can be turned in with the check.

  • Regular lunches are $3.90 each. Daily lunches include fruit and drink. For 3rd – 8th grades, Extra Entrée is the daily lunch with an additional portion of the entrée for $1.00 more ($4.90 total).

  • Chicken Tenders: +2 pieces
  • Pizza: +1 slice
  • Cheeseburger: +1 beef patty (making this a double cheeseburger)
  • Grilled Cheese: +1 sandwich
  • Hot Dog: +1 hot dog
  • Corn Dog: +1 corn dog
  • Tacos: +1 taco
  • Bosco Sticks (Breadsticks stuffed with mozzarella cheese): +1 stick
  • Eggs: +1 serving
  • Sausage: +1 patty
  • Meatballs: +2 meatballs
  • Nacho Supreme: +1 meat serving/additional chips 
  • Individual drinks can be pre-ordered on the menu or purchased daily. ($0.40 each). Students have a choice of low-fat white milk, low-fat chocolate milk, 100% juice or bottled water.
  • Grilled cheese lunch is available daily ($3.90 cash/check) and can be purchased “day-of”. Students must notify their homeroom teacher if they are purchasing a “day-of” grilled cheese lunch. They do not need to tell the teacher if this was pre-ordered.
  • Dessert is served only once a week unless there is a holiday party or it’s a really short week. Dessert can be pre-ordered or purchased that day.

If a child forgets his lunch, cheese crackers will be provided. You may authorize your child(ren) to receive a grilled cheese lunch instead of crackers via email. Payment will be due the following day. One email per family per year is sufficient. Please list all children and homerooms. Authorization can also be rescinded at any time. We keep the original order forms in the kitchen. If there is a question with the teacher’s lunch list, please have the student come to the cafeteria to check the original order form. If you have a question about your order, please contact Joan at stgablunch@gmail.com

If your child is absent, you may receive a lunch credit for the following month. You keep track of the credits and subtract that amount from the next month’s total.

We do not handle any peanut/nut products in the kitchen. We do not order items that knowingly have nuts in them. However; you, as the parent, are the best protector of your child. If you have questions regarding the ingredients in of our products, please email us at stgablunch@gmail.com

It would be helpful to know if your child has a non-nut food allergy: beans, peas, apples. Just email or mark the menu. We will not serve your child those items.

We try to keep the menu as healthy as possible. Everything is made fresh at the school. With the exception of the toasted ravioli, nothing is fried.
